Ashish is co-founder and CTO of Deeption, the spin off from EPFL. Currently he is responsible for project and product development of deriving early signals from the vast amount of data, empowering investment professionals with unique investible insight by providing trustworthy and nuanced market views. Prior to starting Deeption, he was working as a data scientist in Social Media Lab, EPFL where he has helped enterprises answer difficult strategic questions by unravelling explicit and implicit human expression through mining social media data. His competence covers textual quantification, high-level opinion analysis, network analysis and multi-language processing.
